  Morbidz...I posted the link to my FB account and gave similar warnings...I am here reading more and LMFAO so much I'm crying. I have to hide my face in my hands and try to stiffle my laf (hate that), cuz this woman I'm caring after is watching the Antique's Roadshow. I'm lafing and she's looking at me like I'm crazy. I take my headphones out and they are talking about Hurricane Katrina. Not the best timing for a laf, I must say.

  Oh well, back to more i-net phone porn...This is hysterical! You are giving the gift that keeps on giving Morbidz, cuz I'm sure there will be at least a few people who look up the link I posted...and let their fun begin!

  OMG! I have never heard of autocorrect before, but I checked out your link. BAHAHAHAHAHA I've only read the first couple of them, and you were wise to put a little disclaimer up. Glad I wasn't drinking any Pepsi while reading. Way too funny!

  So, I'll have to look up what this autocorrect is, but it seems as if it is akin to spell check?

  Thanks for the laughs tonight (and the lady I'm watching is looking over at me every time I lol, like, wtf are you lookin at? If she only knew)

  just ran across this.

  the last time i saw him, he was in a celebrity rehab program and looked incredibly horrible.

  sad to hear of this news, and it doesn't look hopeful.

  My brother-in-law (well, never officially married to my sis) died two years ago from Cirrhosis of the liver. He drank himself to death. He got cancer and as far as I knew him, 18 or so years, he drank.

  He would get paid, go to the bar, blow all his money on drinks for himself or his "buddies" at the bar. Then he'd either get in a fight with my sis, beat the crap out of her or go to bed. I can't tell you how many times she'd call saything there was not even $$ for diapers or food. I'd help her out over and over, manily due to my neice, but I was so pissed everytime she'd go back to him. "I LOVE HIM!" she'd yell back at me when I told her she needs to get rid of him. Of course, it would only escalate into an arguement between me and her.

  This nonsense continued through their entire relationship. My oldest neice is 18 and her sis 9. They both grew up way too fast due to their father's alcoholism and other factors.

  There was a time where my sis & the girls lived with me. Then she went back to him. Then they all lived with me. Then with each other. I couldn't stand the fighting all the time. What a horrible, destructive environment, especially for the innocent ones-the girls!

  Now, as with many alcoholics, when they're sober, they're really nice people, but it's hard to deal with a Jeckel & Hyde all the time! Too, I don't know if his alcoholism had such a great affect on my sister, but I swear she is bi-polar. She defin has some mental issue going one. She could certainly push your buttons that would make you want to drink. That is for sure. There were times I felt very sorry for him and wondered how he could put up with my sis, too. Guess that could explain part of the drinking. A vicious cylce of yelling, abuse, absenteeism.

  I am sure Jeff Conway was a really great guy at one time. But you know what? Our bodies are made wonderfully. They really are. But when you betray and destroy it over and over and over, it says, That's it! I can't take any more! You win! I give up!

  It's such a pity any way you look at it.

  UPDATE: I just saw the above comment re Dr. Drew. Thank you. No matter how to came into being in a coma, I am hoping he comes out of it!

  Yes! Where is your trust in Jehovah? If your boss doesn't give you the time off when you ask, you have the following options:

  A) Pray for Jehovah to change his heart condition

  B) Quit your job and rely on Jehovah for a brand-spankin new one (and then relate your story of faith at the next convention...applause...applause)

  C) Be a better Witness so Jehovah will bless you with option A or B

  I got goosebumps when I read the thread title. What memories There are reasons some memories are reppressed. Thank GOD for that ability.

  it's for home-schooled kids and will be at the la quinta.

  so there aren't going to be many people there.

  FollowedMyHeart...It's so sad to read a post like yours. My goes out to you.

  Do you think it may be possible if you were to sit down after everyone else? Would her back be toward you, so neither she nor your family would see you? Surely there will be other people there. Could you blend in the crowd so as not to be noticed?

  Afterwards, it would be up to you to see her face-to-face. Gee, I'm not your sis, but I would rather know you were there and then left, than to not show up at all. Like I said, I'm not your sis, tho.

  I know you are trying to respect her wishes, yet convey your love and happiness at this milestone. I wish the best for the both of you
